Open to children ages 4–12.

Parents or legal guardians must submit the entry on behalf of their child.

One entry per child per month is allowed.

Open to participants in the United States.

Entries are accepted on a rolling monthly basis.

Each month’s contest closes at 11:59 PM PST on the last day of the month.

Submissions received after the deadline will be considered for the following month’s contest.

A small panel of Elfie’s Magical Judges will select winners based on:

💫 Optional rhyme or story adds extra magic, but is not required.

Each month, a few standout entries will be chosen to win prizes and be featured on Elfie’s website and social media with your permission.
(No purchase is necessary. Prizes have no cash value.)
Winners will be emailed and called on the 10th of each following month. Once confirmed, their winning magical creatures will be announced (with first name and artwork only) through:

By submitting an entry, you agree that:

You are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose artwork is submitted.

You grant permission to Elfie / Color Me Elf to feature the artwork, the child’s first name, creature name and rhyme on its website, email campaigns, and social media.

All artwork remains the property of the artist, but you grant Elfie / Color Me Elf a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, share, adapt, and remix the submission in any future stories, books, products, or magical adventures.

Personal contact information will never be shared publicly and is used only to contact winners and share contest updates.

Elfie’s team reserves the right to disqualify any inappropriate or incomplete submissions.
